Near Death Experience
with Patricia Kristie

This talk on the Near Death Experience features a 30 minute film in which six doctors, three of whom themselves experienced a NDE talk about what the public and people working in all walks of the medical profession should know about this silent but massive world wide phenonemon.  An experiencers world view and understanding of self may be radically altered and yet they live in a societal atmosphere of denial or doubt.  Another aspect, the before death reunion or shared death passing is also commonly reported by family and nurses.  The audience will be invited to share their stories as time permits.

Patricia Kristie's skills development began with graduating as a registered nurse in 1960. Work included hospital neurological nursing in GF Strong and Pearson, geriatric nursing at UBC, home care with the Victorian Order of Nurses in Ontario, teaching in William Hands Vocational School and Hotel Dieu Hospital.

She co-founded a school in Ontario for youth having difficulty with addictions and social adjustment called Twin Valleys School. In mid-life she completed a B.A. at UBC and past mid-life, a masters in Counselling from the Adler School of Psychology in Chicago as well as a host of other courses such as hypnosis, EMDR, Thought Field Therapy, etc.

The theme running through her life has been her deep interest in what is termed ‘spirituality’, finding some foundation of wisdom in the Emissaries of Divine Light for about twenty years and later with ten years of study and experience with the Ramtha School of Enlightenment.

She had followed the research provided by IANDS into the Near Death Experience and attended a number of their international conferences. Latterly she has had some course retreats with the Monroe Institute as well as OBE expert William Buhlman.
